Apple fritters, quick to make, from batter without any yeast. Apple fritters are a delicious dessert idea for both children and adults.
Eggs (1)
Milk (200ml)
Wheat Flour (150g)
Vanilla sugar (1 tablespoon)
White sugar (1 tablespoon)
Baking soda (1/2 teaspoon)
Powdered sugar (optional)
Cherry jam (optional)
Sift the flour into a bowl, add the vanilla sugar, regular sugar, and baking soda, then mix.
Add the milk and egg, and whisk until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
Peel the apples, cut them into quarters, remove the cores, then cut each quarter lengthwise in half and slice crosswise into thin pieces. Add them to the batter and mix.
Place about one tablespoon of batter and three apple slices per fritter onto the heated oil in a frying pan, and fry for about 1.5 minutes until golden. Flip and fry the other side the same way.
Serve with powdered sugar, cherry jam, or similar toppings.
